As a Shift Manager/Service Lead (m/f/x) at Wen Cheng Noodles, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant during his/her shift. This includes supervising staff, ensuring excellent customer service, managing operational tasks, and maintaining high standards of food quality, cleanliness, and safety.
Duties:
- Oversee all aspects of daily restaurant operations, including staff management, inventory control, and financial performance.
- Train, schedule and supervise restaurant staff to ensure optimal coverage and compliance with company policies.
- Promote a positive and collaborative work environment, supporting teamwork and professional development of employees.
- Implement and enforce operational standards and procedures to ensure consistent high quality and efficiency in service.
- Monitor and analyze sales figures, turnover, and expenditure and take proactive measures to optimize profitability and reduce costs.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations through regular inspections and prompt rectification of defects.
- Interacting with customers, ensuring their satisfaction, and handling and resolving concerns in a timely and courteous manner.
Requirements:
- Catering experience preferably with staff responsibility, is not a must.
- Good knowledge of restaurant operations, including front-of-house, back-of-house, and kitchen management.
- Excellent customer service skills, focusing on providing a memorable dining experience.
- Good time management with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively.
- In-depth knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays as required.
