As a Shift Manager/Service Lead  (m/f/x) at Wen Cheng Noodles, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant during his/her shift. This includes supervising staff, ensuring excellent customer service, managing operational tasks, and maintaining high standards of food quality, cleanliness, and safety.

Duties:
  • Oversee all aspects of daily restaurant operations, including staff management, inventory control, and financial performance.
  • Train, schedule and supervise restaurant staff to ensure optimal coverage and compliance with company policies.
  • Promote a positive and collaborative work environment, supporting teamwork and professional development of employees.
  • Implement and enforce operational standards and procedures to ensure consistent high quality and efficiency in service.
  • Monitor and analyze sales figures, turnover, and expenditure and take proactive measures to optimize profitability and reduce costs.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations through regular inspections and prompt rectification of defects.
  • Interacting with customers, ensuring their satisfaction, and handling and resolving concerns in a timely and courteous manner.

Requirements:
  • Catering experience preferably with staff responsibility, is not a must.
  • Good knowledge of restaurant operations, including front-of-house, back-of-house, and kitchen management.
  • Excellent customer service skills, focusing on providing a memorable dining experience.
  • Good time management with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively.
  • In-depth knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays as required.
